Professional Bio
TERRY NATHANSON, LCSW
Terry brings over 30 years’ experience in the field of mind body connection to his clinical practices as a psychotherapist, executive coach and Nondual Kabbalistic Healer.
He is certified in Gestalt Therapy, Couples work, Eating Based Mindfulness training, and Nondual Integrated Kabbalistic Healing. He utilizes an Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach with somatically oriented mindfulness. Terry weaves together the best of western psychology and the latest research in applied neuroscience such as EMDR and trauma based recovery models with eastern spiritual traditions and contemplative meditation practice.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
In addition to his private practices, he is an adjunct lecturer at New York University’s Silver School of Social Work Master’s program, where he teaches courses on mindfulness. He also leads a group for therapists at the Westchester Chapter of The New York State Society for Clinical Work in neuroscience and psychotherapy.
Terry has led workshops and retreats at Omega Institute for Holistic Health in Rhinebeck New York on Overeating and Sexuality, at the Kripalu Center for Yoga in Lenox Massachusetts on the Energetics of Intimacy and Eating and Awakening, and at the Gestalt Center of Mexico on New Approaches to Couples Therapy. He has presented at Renfrew Center’s Annual Conferences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Movement Therapy and the Evolution of a Therapist.
Terry lives with his wife Roberta and Boots their cat nearby their four grandchildren.
