BACKGROUND

It was over twenty years ago when I found my clients were talking about the tough issues that related to their work life.  Executives, owners, Presidents and CEO’s were dealing with the early signs of being burnt out by success.  They were asking big questions.  “Where do I go from here, is this it and what do I do now?”  Others were wanting direction ON HOW TO uplevel their management and leadership styles or wanted more effective ways to best handle power plays and struggles at work.

INTEGRATED COACHING

Taking the best of my experience as an executive coach and psychotherapist trained in the neuroscience of change I focus my sessions to specifically target these business-life dilemmas in ways that break through the logjam and get executives unstuck.   My focus in on breaking free of what the derailleurs are in the first place.  Then we work with the specific steps that improve the quality of their life as a whole.

FINDING BALANCE IN AN EVER-CHANGING LANDSCAPE

On the personal side there was seriously talk about how being a provider for their family was not enough anymore.  It wasn’t making sense to them giving 120% at work only to come home to withdrawn and disinterested spouses and children that were having increasing difficulties behaving.  Years of keeping business and their personal life separate were now bleeding into one another.  Negatively effecting making sharp decisions and being inspirational in their leadership it was getting harder to keep being passionate with what they were doing at work.

Many clients were experiencing health issues such as high blood pressure, insomnia and fatigue, headaches, digestive and hearts problems.  After years of being able to ignore and over ride their body without consequences, stress and lack of healthy routines were catching up with them.

Ironically they were grappling with how their achievement and financial success, talent and power to make things happen within their organization was leading them to lose what they loved the most— their families and home.

I recognized how patterns in the ways these men and women, many who had started their own businesses, others who had taken over their families business, were now emotionally and physically hurting them.  The stress of being in repeating no win situations between work and family needed a road map to repair the ruptures that were taking place.
