Times of transition, and growth can feel more like confusion and anxiety than the path to the inner gold that ultimately overcomes obstacles and shapes you into the person you’ve actually been all along.  Often it is helpful to have a witness who can mirror to you that while it feels like a mess on the inside, you are actually in the middle of a huge change opportunity; one that can take you in exactly where you want to go.

HOW I WORK

What I believe to be of utmost importance is creating a feeling of safety, mutual respect, empathizing with not only what is spoken, but also what is left unsaid, but still present and felt.  My commitment is to get where my clients are coming from and to understand what is important to them.

Both as a therapist and as a fellow traveler I hold these qualities to be crucial to a therapeutic relationship, transformation and healing.

These are the attributes I value and offer you in our work together.

Our work emerges out this quality of interaction and your specific goals. I find hope, direction and answers appear in the least likely of moments. Feelings of uncertainty and suffering are often our doorways to clarity, confidence, purpose, direction and healing.

Ultimately, it is a way of coming into wholeness, despite the challenges and messiness of life—discovering that you can love who you are, just as you are.  It is the process of finding the courage to unburden yourself from having to look the part and be someone you are not, and enjoying the freedom of being fine just as you are.
